This was such a fun read! I love a good second-chance romance.
I enjoyed Wes and Albany's journey back to each other after years of being apart. Wes had to reflect on his life and past choices regarding Albany and his future in the family business. Albany had to decide if she was able to open her heart again to Wes. And navigate her life after divorce. I loved the chemistry between Wes and Albany and how they were drawn to each other.
Both Wes and Albany's grandmothers were a hoot, especially Albany's grandmother.
I love stories built around families. In this story, we see the different dynamics between the main characters and their families. Both good and not so good. My heart ached for Albany and her relationship with her parents. Thank goodness for her grandmother and her brother Moses.
I loved the strong bond of friendship between Albany and her bestie and how they supported each other.
I look forward to more from these characters.
